The trade counter here at Benn Lock and Safe, St David’s Square, Peterborough will be pleased to welcome you, Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5pm.

We hold in stock specialist locks and keys which we sell over the counter. All types of locks are sold – even the obscure ones. Multipoint locks are held in stock. There are 2000 different types of multipoint lock but luckily many are ‘regional’ and we know the ones that are fitted in our region so we hold them in stock. We hold the centre cases for lock strips. Locks for timber doors are held in stock, Yale, Chubb, Union locks are all held including generic replacements which could save you money.

FREE ADVICE

Door locks for the home and office are not all the same and sometimes it can be baffling to get a replacement. Our expert advice over the counter is given freely to assist you to choose the right lock for the easiest replacement. Production of many locks has been discontinued and it will be necessary to purchase a new lock where the door needs least alteration for fitting. Our locksmith staff are experienced to give you the best advice for the easiest change-over. As well as locks we supply other security products, padlocks, hasps and staples, bolts, chain, safes, key cabinets, secuity mirrors, door handles, hydraulic door closers, fire safety products and keys of all types.

KEY MAKING

We make keys while you wait. Our machinery is state-of-the-art equipment designed to provide reliable and accurate keys. Visit us with your keys and we’ll make copies while you wait. If you have security keys we can copy some of them and can obtain them from specialist suppliers – subject to the correct authority and proven identity.
